The Amiya Nimai Mahaprabhu Temple

The historic Amiya Nimai Mahaprabhu Temple, in Gopinath Bazar, Vrindavan, is entrusted to Chandan Maharaj’s family, and the ancient deity of Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu resides there. Every year, the temple hosts a special kirtan re-creating Mahaprabhu’s search for Shri Krishn through the forests of Vrindavan. This festival draws a huge number of devotees from all over the world. Seva for the widows is held on a large scale regularly.

Sri Sarvabhauma Madhusudan Goswami was a devoted follower in the lineage of Gopala Bhatta Goswami, deeply engaged in the worship of Radha Raman Ji in Vrindavan. A distinguished scholar of Nyaya (logic) and Sanskrit grammar, he was also a dynamic preacher and a strong advocate of social reform. Throughout his life, he traveled extensively across India, spreading the teachings of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu with great dedication. His spiritual influence reached many prominent saints and scholars of his time, including Shishir Kumar Ghosh, Bhaktivinoda Thakur, Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati, Pandit Rasik Mohan Vidyabhushan, Madan Mohan Malaviya, and Sri Haridas Goswami, among others.
